This job opportunity is part of the Labor Migration Program, an initiative that seeks to offer decent jobs with better salary conditions and legal benefits.

The minister of Labor, Rolando Castro, highlighted that this program allows salvadorans to access formal contracts abroad, guaranteeing economic stability for them and their families. “We are transforming the lives of these people with dignified and secure employment”, he said.
In addition to the economic benefit, the program has a key social component: the eradication of child labor in the mangroves. To this end, the children of the benefited workers are required to be enrolled in school and receive quality education.

The salvadoran government has worked in coordination with Canadian companies to ensure that workers have all legal guarantees, including social security and fair working conditions. This effort strengthens the policy of generating secure employment and improves the quality of life of hundreds of families.
With this first contingent, El Salvador advances in the expansion of the Labor Migration Program, providing more opportunities for workers in sectors with high demand abroad. It is expected that new groups may join in the coming months.
