The Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE) successfully concludes the presentation of the 46 programs that make up the Plan General de Elecciones (PLAGEL) 2027, consolidating an important advance in the first phase of the Salvadoran Electoral Cycle 2025-2029.

The presentations of the programs took place between may 21 and june 6 of this year, and constitute a key step in the planning of the Legislative and Municipal Elections, scheduled for february 28, 2027.
During the sessions, the different units and directorates of the TSE presented to the Collegiate Body the technical, operational, and budgetary aspects of each of the programs that make up the PLAGEL 2027, which is divided into two main areas:

- 24 programs for voting in national territory: Focused on the Electoral Calendar, including logistics, technology, training and security.

- 22 programs for voting abroad: Aimed at guaranteeing the right to vote of the salvadoran diaspora, with emphasis on accessibility and transparency.

With the culmination of this phase, the magistrates of the TSE proceed to the review of each program, their respective budgets, and functional details, guaranteeing that the legal, technical, and operational standards are met for the development of a modern and reliable electoral process. This review is a step prior to the official approval of the plan by the Collegiate Body.
The Presiding Magistrate, Roxana Soriano, along with the other magistrates that make up the Collegiate Body, reiterate their commitment to democracy, ensuring that every salvadoran, inside and outside the country, can exercise their right to vote with full confidence in the electoral process.

The TSE continues to advance with responsibility and firmness in the organization of the great Electoral Party of 2027, working so that the sovereign will of the salvadoran people is expressed in a free, direct, egalitarian, secret, secure and transparent manner at the ballot box.
