To solve land regularization problems, Corporación Argoz has reopened its agency in the Santa Tecla district, municipality of La Libertad Sur. This reopening, together with that of the head office and the branch office in San Salvador, marks an important step in the process of restitution of rights for the owners of lots that had been left in legal limbo.
It should be noted that the situation of Corporación Argoz had become critical when it was revealed that only 6% of the lots were in order, while 81% did not have any stage of regularization. In addition, the Minister of the Ministry of Housing, Michelle Sol, indicated that, despite this, 90% of the lots had already been paid in full, representing an income of US$147 million for the company. The remaining 10% are still in the process of payment, underscoring the magnitude of the problem and the urgent need for intervention.
Likewise, the Government has shown a firm commitment to guarantee that all families receive the documents accrediting them as the legitimate owners of their land. Through exhaustive follow-up and concrete measures, it is intended to ensure that no case remains unresolved.
The reopening of the agency in Santa Tecla not only facilitates access to payment services and consultation of account statements, but also provides a space for those affected to find out about the progress of their regularization processes.
This action is part of a broader strategy to restore confidence in the system and ensure that property rights are respected and protected. With the new administration and the support of the government, Corporación Argoz seeks to resolve one of the most emblematic cases of land sale irregularities in the country.
