How Sivar Digital works
The process for completing your municipal tax return through Sivar Digital is simple and accessible from any internet-enabled device, whether a computer or mobile phone. The Municipality details the steps as follows:
1. Accessing the Platform
Go to the official Sivar Digital website: https://sivardigital.sansalvador.gob.sv. Once there, you can begin the process quickly and securely.
2. Creating an Account
Click on “Register” and complete the initial information requested by the system. This will link your profile and prepare it for making payments.
3. Correct Identification
Enter your taxpayer identification number. Individuals begin with 15, while legal entities begin with 16. This number is found on municipal payment receipts and is key to verifying your identity with the system.
4. Personal Information
Complete your personal information, including your name, email address, and ID number. Then, create a secure password to access your account.
5. Email Verification
Check your inbox and click “Verify Email Address” to activate your account. If it doesn’t appear in your main inbox, check your spam folder.
Payment deadline
The Mayor’s Office reminds residents that the deadline to complete the process and pay their municipal taxes is the 31st of this month. Paying online avoids lines and allows you to fulfill your obligation securely from the comfort of your home.
