The La Unión branch of the Cámara de Comercio e Industria de El Salvador (Camarasal) held the 22nd edition of the Tourism Fair. The six-day event attracted more than 15,000 visitors from around the country, significantly boosting tourism and the local economy.

The fair has positioned itself as one of the main cultural and recreational attractions in the eastern region. Its success demonstrates La Unión’s potential to establish itself as a tourist destination and development center, contributing to the area’s economic vitality.




The event, which took place at the Municipal Sports Complex, featured a varied program. There was an opening parade, an equestrian parade, and the participation of six peace bands, as well as floats and mobile sponsors, creating a festive and community atmosphere.
The artistic agenda was a highlight, with performances by seven musical groups and orchestras, including the Orquesta Premier, Los REDD, and Banda JM. Other activities included two children’s afternoons, a fashion show, and a fireworks display.

The branch’s president, Carolina Ortez, emphasized that the fair is the result of a commitment to showcasing the department’s wealth and potential. She emphasized that this event promotes culture, boosts tourism, and strengthens the local economy.
