The Ministry of Finance celebrated the graduation of 270 scholarship recipients who completed the “Human Capital Training Program 2024”. The participants received specialized training and carried out internships in various departments of the institution, strengthening their professional preparation.
Carlos Manuel Ábrego Meléndez, head of the Training and Development Department, emphasized that this initiative allows them to acquire key experience for future hiring in the public, private and municipal sectors. He also said that the program is an added value for young people seeking to enter the labor market.

For the scholarship recipients, this opportunity represents a bridge between academic training and practical experience.

The program has an initial duration of one year, with the possibility of extending for a second year. To participate, candidates must have passed at least 90% of their undergraduate courses and remain active students at legally recognized universities.

During 2024, the specialties offered included tax, customs, and public administration areas, ranging from tax generation to auditing and administrative processes.

The program has a national scope, with greater presence in the central zone, but also with representation in the eastern and western zones.
