The Tribunal Supremo Electoral (TSE), in an act of international cooperation, donated 1,612 scanners to the Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE) of Ecuador. This technological contribution reaffirms its commitment to promote practices that guarantee the will of citizens in electoral processes, contributing to a stronger, more transparent, and united democracy in Latin America.

The Magistrate President of the TSE, Roxana Soriano, during a protocol act, highlighted that this initiative, unanimously approved by the Collegiate Body, reflects the institution’s unwavering commitment to democracy and transparency in electoral processes. “This donation is one more step in the consolidation of the TSE as a regional reference in electoral integrity”, said Soriano.

The Ambassador of Ecuador, Laura Donoso, on behalf of the CNE, thanked the inter-institutional support that the TSE is providing to generate transparent and reliable processes for the population. The Ecuadorian delegation included Alejandra Santa Cruz Pacheco, National Director of Foreign Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Presiding Magistrate thanked the members of the Collegiate Body for their unanimous support, as well as the technical and administrative team of the TSE, whose work made this project possible. “This achievement belongs to all of you”, she said, highlighting the collective effort that made this action possible.

Citing the slogan, “God save you, Sacred Homeland”, the Magistrate President concluded, recalling that every act of transparency and democracy honors the legacy of freedom and unity that defines the nation.
