The energy company emphasized that safety is its main corporate value. For this reason, it implements various actions aimed at providing its personnel, both its own and contractors, with the knowledge and tools necessary to prevent occupational incidents.

AES El Salvador has been recognized by the Comisión de Integración Energética Regional (CIER) for its outstanding performance in the Regional Occupational Health and Safety Survey 2025. The recognition, awarded under the “Very Good Performance” category, highlights the company’s commitment to high occupational safety standards for the benefit of its employees and contractors.
The survey, in which 68 companies in the electricity sector from 12 countries of the continent participated, evaluated the working conditions of more than 78,000 employees and 334,000 contractors belonging to the Power Generation, Distribution and Transmission sectors.
In the study, AES El Salvador stood out for its compliance with rigorous safety indicators, reaffirming the solid safety policies implemented and reflects its organizational culture oriented to the integral protection of its collaborators.
CIER, an organization that groups companies in the energy sector in Latin America, emphasized that this recognition seeks to motivate companies and their management teams to continue strengthening their occupational health and safety strategies.
