Bancolombia Capital, the international wealth management company of the Grupo Cibest, surpassed US$1 billion in assets under management (AUM) at the beginning of 2025. The firm, which began operations in september 2022, has strengthened its presence in the wealth management sector in the United States, serving primarily Latin American clients.

This milestone reflects investors’ growing interest in diversifying their portfolios across jurisdictions, currencies, and asset classes; and is the result of a client-centric approach and a broad platform of investment solutions aligned with investors’ evolving needs.
“We are very pleased with the trust our clients have placed in us”, said Juan Felipe Giraldo, CEO of Bancolombia Capital. “The regional expertise of our team, our long-term vision and commitment to service have allowed us to expand our presence and offer investment strategies tailored to Latin American investors”, he complemented.
Vision for the future:
Looking ahead, Bancolombia Capital intends to further strengthen its value proposition by strengthening its relationships with asset managers and expanding its portfolio of financial advisory services to consolidate its position as an integral ally of Latin America’s large capitals.
Value proposition:
