In an atmosphere of solidarity and dedication, Claro El Salvador held a new edition of its “Blood Donation Campaign” to support Hospital El Salvador. The initiative aims to strengthen the institution’s blood center, which is essential for responding to medical emergencies and surgical procedures that save lives every day.
The event was attended enthusiastically by employees from various areas of the company, who voluntarily and in solidarity joined this initiative that saves lives and generates hope for hundreds of people.
2025 marks the fifth consecutive year that Claro has held this event as part of its Sustainability initiatives, through the Health program promoted by the company’s Social Welfare department. Throughout its previous editions, the campaign has also benefited important institutions such as the Instituto Salvadoreño del Seguro Social (ISSS) blood bank and the Cruz Roja Salvadoreña, reaffirming Claro’s commitment to the well-being of the population and strengthening the country’s healthcare system.

Since 2021, more than 200 Claro Volunteers have voluntarily joined this noble cause, providing support to nearly 600 Salvadorans who have required a blood transfusion to recover their health or preserve their lives.
“At Claro, we are delighted to carry out this event, which not only strengthens our commitment to health but also promotes altruism and empathy among our teams. This action is part of the Health axis of our Sustainability initiatives, through which we seek to generate a positive and lasting impact on Salvadoran society”, said Claudia Trejo, Head of Public Relations at Claro El Salvador.
During the activity, employees underwent a pre-medical evaluation to ensure they were suitable to donate, taking care of every detail of the process and ensuring compliance with established medical protocols.
“From the Social Welfare area, we are proud to promote initiatives with our Claro volunteers, such as this blood donation campaign, which reflects our employees’ genuine commitment to the community and strengthens the values of solidarity and social responsibility that we promote every day”, said Inés de Álvarez, Social Welfare Coordinator at Claro El Salvador.
In the context of the commemoration of World Blood Donor Day, Claro El Salvador was recognized by the Ministry of Health as a company committed to life, thanks to its constant and voluntary support for the institutions that make up the National Blood Bank Network. This recognition not only fills us with pride, but also motivates us to continue promoting actions that make a real difference in the lives of salvadorans.
