A. M. DELSUR continues to develop strategies to be the strategic ally of the Energy Transition of El Salvador, respecting sustainable human development, projecting a clear vision for the future based on innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation.
Under the slogan “Transition that drives progress”, the company shared with its stakeholders the main results of its 2024 management and the strategic priorities that guide its evolution towards a more resilient and sustainable model by 2030.
The event included the participation of international expert Medardo Cadena, from the Organización Latinoamericana de Energía (OLADE), who addressed the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition in Latin America, its origins and development.
During the period reported, DELSUR supplied more than 1,768 GWh of energy to 459,000 customers, with an investment of more than US$26.5 million, aimed at modernizing the power grid in key areas of the country. In addition, actions were taken to strengthen digital and environmental transformation, the circular use of materials, and the execution of studies on biodiversity and climate vulnerability.
The company also works to offer a more efficient, accessible, and personalized customer experience by automating processes, strengthening digital channels, and implementing technological solutions that improve service quality.
In terms of sustainability, DELSUR is driving the reduction of its carbon footprint, promoting energy efficiency, and increasing the integration of clean energy in its operations. It is also investing in the modernization of its systems using artificial intelligence, data analytics and automated management tools, to anticipate the challenges of the sector and respond quickly to the needs of its users.
Among its medium-term goals, the company seeks to reduce its emissions by 30%, expand access to state-of-the-art technologies, and ensure that 100% of its customers have digital solutions that enable them to more actively manage their consumption and services.
This comprehensive approach has been recognized with distinctions such as the CIER Quality Award 2024 (Silver category), the recognition of the Inter-American Development Bank for gender innovation in the electricity sector and certification as a Great Place to Work, consolidating DELSUR as a benchmark of excellence, sustainability, and commitment to human development.
With a clear roadmap and a committed team, DELSUR will continue to energetically lead the country’s development, promoting a responsible, inclusive, and people-centered energy transition.
