A comprehensive approach that encompasses both the professional and personal development of its human talent has made Nestlé one of the companies most valued by its employees for fostering an inclusive and innovative work environment.

Nestlé El Salvador has been recognized in the latest ranking presented by the Great Place to Work Institute, ranking third overall; in addition to achieving first place in the ranking that measures the Best Workplaces for Women. These recognitions confirm the company’s efforts to promote an inclusive workplace culture, as well as its leadership in the food and beverage sector.
“Maintaining our privileged positions within the Great Place to Work Ranking for another year, achieving the number 1 position as the best company for women to work for, and now, placing in the top three in the overall GPTW ranking, represents a source of pride and satisfaction for Nestlé El Salvador in fulfilling our policies of workplace inclusion, gender equity, and the construction of a workplace based on teamwork, professional development, and equal opportunities. We owe and dedicate this recognition to all our employees”, said Patricia Argueta, Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager at Nestlé El Salvador.
Currently, Nestlé El Salvador has a gender balance of 54% women and 46% men, with 54% of women holding leadership positions. It also maintains active environmental sustainability programs, helping it achieves zero waste to landfill at its facilities. This commitment within the company is enhanced by more than 200 employees in administrative offices and its distribution center in Nejapa, who experience a sense of belonging, value, and respect from the company every day.
Like Nestlé El Salvador, other countries in the region stood out in the ranking with privileged positions, such as Nestlé Nicaragua in the number 1 position; Nestlé Honduras in the number 2 position; Nestlé Costa Rica in the number 5 position; Nestlé Panama in the number 8 position; and Nestlé Guatemala in the number 10 position.
Additionally, Nestlé Central America achieved the number 1 position among the Best Workplaces for Women in 2025 in Multinational Companies.

“This distinction from our own employees highlights the collective effort we make within the company to create a positive, collaborative, and growth-enhancing workplace for all. It also reflects that diversity and inclusion are implicit in every action we take, from internally to our value chain as suppliers, partners, and, of course, our consumers”, said Pablo Wiechers, President and CEO of Nestlé Central America.
The Great Place to Work Institute ranking is the result of a careful and extensive study of organizational climate and culture that measures the conduct, behavior, and environment of the companies participating in the study.
This ranking considers two surveys: the first, administered to the organizations’ employees, measuring five dimensions: credibility, respect, impartiality, pride, and camaraderie. The second survey of the organizations evaluates human capital processes, policies, and practices. The combination of both studies determines an organization’s position on the list of the best companies to work for in a country.
Nestlé maintains a genuine responsibility toward its entire value chain, which can only be achieved in a work environment that provides decent working conditions for each employee. Therefore, the company is committed to continuing to promote workplaces where all people can fully develop, contributing to an equitable and diverse work environment.
