Nestlé has been recognized as the company with the best corporate reputation in Ibero-America, according to the latest edition of the Merco Empresas Iberoamérica ranking. The Swiss multinational heads an outstanding list that includes Coca-Cola, AB InBev, Microsoft, and Unilever among the top five.

This ninth edition of the ranking is based on an exhaustive analysis that included 18 countries in the region. The evaluation incorporated the opinions of more than 11,000 business executives, close to 1,000 academics, almost 900 economic journalists and more than 51,000 consumers, among other stakeholders. In addition, variables such as digital reputation and objective comparisons of 656 companies were considered.
The Merco ranking has established itself as a key reference in corporate reputation, highlighting the growing importance of business ethics, sustainability, and commitment to stakeholders.
Pablo Wiechers, President and CEO of Nestlé Central America, highlighted the relevance of the results saying: “This recognition reflects our commitment to business ethics, sustainability and our commitment to deliver value to all our stakeholders. In addition, last april Merco shared the results of the 1st edition of Merco Empresas Centroamérica y República Dominicana, where it announced the companies with the best reputation in the region in 2024. In this ranking Nestlé reached the first place in this important award.
