Walmart El Salvador has been distinguished as the most attractive company to work for in the commerce sector, according to the Empresas Más Atractivas para Trabajar (EMAT), ranking, published by the employment website Tecoloco. This recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to the professional development and well-being of its employees.

The EMAT ranking is a perception survey that identifies, based on the opinion of employees, the companies that stand out for offering the best working conditions, growth opportunities, and organizational culture.
Walmart El Salvador’s culture is characterized by its leadership, solid values, pride in belonging, positive institutional image, focus on sustainability, and the creation of opportunities for all. These pillars have made the company a benchmark for a good working environment in the country.
“This achievement reflects the effort and dedication of our associates, as well as the vision we have as a company to build a positive work environment, where each person can grow and develop”, said Claudia de Ibáñez, deputy director of Social License at Walmart.
Currently, more than 4,700 salvadorans are part of the Walmart family, in a culture based on respect for the individual, where everyone is valued for who they are and equity is encouraged.
