This joint effort between Banco CUSCATLAN and SISA Seguros seeks to strengthen the capacity to respond to emergencies and provide immediate attention to those who need it most during this period of high mobility and increased risk.

This donation will supply equipment to the Salvadoran Red Cross first responders, such as cases for first aid kits and medical supplies; canopies that will be used at the aid stations; coolers to keep hydration supplies at the right temperature; and bags to facilitate the transport of essential materials, all to ensure quality care during emergency situations.
“At Banco CUSCATLAN we know that this season is very much awaited by salvadoran families, and that is why we feel committed to support the Plan executed by the Salvadoran Red Cross. With this donation we are joining to help families to have a safe recreation, providing rescue supplies to prevent accidents both aquatic and terrestrial, thus contributing to the fast and effective care provided by volunteers, safeguarding the lives of Salvadorans”, said Evelyn Pozas, Coordinator of Corporate Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility.

The main objective of the “Easter Week 2025 Plan” is to address emergencies arising from accidents that may occur during the festivities, considering that during this period, there is an increase in the number of vacationers on beaches and resorts, as well as people attending religious events. This also generates an increase in vehicular traffic, so the Salvadoran Red Cross reinforces its operation with the firm purpose of attending any eventuality and saving lives.
“For SISA Seguros, it is an honor to once again support the excellent work of the Salvadoran Red Cross. This is the fifth consecutive year that we have collaborated with the purchase of medical equipment for the team of lifeguards and lifeguards who participate in the Easter Week contingency plans. We know that by supporting the Red Cross, we are directly benefiting the salvadoran population, who will be able to count on timely attention in case of any incident during the vacations”, said Roxana Zúniga, Communications and Marketing manager of SISA Seguros.
This year, the Red Cross will deploy 12 aquatic aid stations on beaches and seaside resorts, and 23 land stations on the country’s main highways. In addition, 60 branches will be activated as aid stations, with the support of close to 2,000 volunteers throughout the country.

“We feel very grateful for the support provided by Banco CUSCATLAN and SISA Seguros, who have been with us for several years. Thanks to their solidarity, our volunteers, whether lifeguards or lifeguards, can count on the adequate equipment to carry out their rescue work in a period of high vulnerability due to the increase in land and water accidents that occur during the holiday season”, commented José Benjamín Ruíz Rodas, President of the Salvadoran Red Cross.
The Easter Week 2025 Plan implemented by the Salvadoran Red Cross allows guiding and assisting the population with prevention, protection and first aid, safety, and aquatic rescue measures, guaranteeing an effective and efficient service.
