La Constancia and Fundación Teletón, together with strategic allies such as MOVES El Salvador, TVS, Cruz Roja Salvadoreña, and FONAT, today presented the road safety campaign “Vos no sos el Superhombre”, now in its third edition, with the aim of reducing road accident rates in the country and promoting responsible mobility for drivers, motorcyclists, and pedestrians.
The campaign seeks to raise awareness among the population about the importance of respecting traffic rules and protecting life on the streets, addressing the main causes of road accidents: distracted driving, lane invasion, disregard for traffic signals, excessive speed, and risky crossings.

The Fundación Teletón has shown how a significant number of people treated at its Rehabilitation Centers acquired a physical disability as a result of road accidents, especially motorcycle accidents.

At La Constancia, we firmly believe that road safety is essential for everyone. As a company with a nationwide presence, with 11 distribution centers, 3 production plants, and more than 2,600 employees on the roads every day, we share the roads with colleagues, friends, and consumers. We want everyone to get home safely, which is why we are promoting this campaign, created by La Constancia with the support of Fundación Teletón and now strengthened by partners such as MOVES, TVS, the Red Cross, and FONAT”, said Javier Benavides, Reputation and Sustainability manager at La Constancia.

The campaign combines educational messages, participatory activities, and a presence at strategic locations in San Salvador and La Libertad. In 2023, it reached more than 3 million people through social media, and since its inception, it has trained more than 200 motorcyclists in theoretical and practical safe driving techniques. This year, it is expected to add more than 100 additional motorcyclists, in addition to conducting street activations to raise awareness among at least 600 people.

As part of the launch activities, a Road Safety Rally was held for motorcyclists of all ages. Participants received practical training in accident prevention (FONAT), emergency braking techniques and motorcycle maintenance (MOVES), and first aid in road accidents (Salvadoran Red Cross).
