The Consejo de Operación y Administración del Mercado San Salvador (COAMSS – OPAMSS), through its Executive Director, Luis Enrique Rodríguez, conducted a technical visit to the Art Haus project, an 18-story tower with 244 units located in downtown San Salvador. The project represents a US$50 million investment, part of a total US$500 million portfolio financed by Polaris.
The project seeks to strengthen the country’s tourism industry by offering more accommodation options for business visitors and boosting economic dynamism in the central urban area.
During the visit, the authorities announced the joint initiative with the Dirección de Ordenamiento Territorial y Construcción (DOT),led by its Executive Director, Paola Bardi, seeking to standardize processes, increase efficiency levels, and consolidate investment promotion strategies.
Art Haus not only represents a milestone in private construction but also demonstrates the sustained growth of the real estate and tourism sectors in El Salvador, demonstrating how public-private collaboration can generate economic opportunities, employment, and orderly urban development.
