This increase, which will be 4.5%, will be applied as of january 15, 2025.
The salary increase will mainly benefit assistants, security guards, watchmen, serenaders, skilled workers and those who work on site. In addition, site workers will see their salaries adjusted according to the rates established in the price tables of each Collective Bargaining Agreement.
CASALCO has urged the companies in the sector to take the necessary measures to comply with this provision as of the aforementioned date. In its press release, the Chamber emphasizes the importance of guaranteeing that workers receive the corresponding payment in accordance with the new values established in the Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Likewise, CASALCO calls on the other companies operating within the construction industry to adopt this wage increase, seeking to establish more equitable and standardized working conditions throughout the industry, which will result in better conditions for workers and a fairer environment in the sector.
They also announced to the companies that the Collective Bargaining Agreements in force are available for consultation on CASALCO’s official website (https://www.casalco.org.sv/contrato-colectivo-de-trabajo), in order to facilitate compliance with the provisions.
