Salvadoran companies from the packaging, textile, food and beverage, and logistics sectors are participating in the Exphore 2026 trade fair in Costa Rica, with the goal of expanding their exports, establishing strategic partnerships, and opening new business opportunities in the regional market.
The participation was coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of El Salvador in Costa Rica, and the INVEST Agency, as part of a strategy to promote the internationalization of El Salvador’s export offerings and strengthen the presence of domestic companies in international markets.
Considered one of Costa Rica’s leading trade platforms for the hospitality and gastronomy sectors, Exphore brings together more than 7,000 visitors, including buyers, distributors, businesspeople, and representatives of hotel and food service chains from various Latin American countries.

El Salvador’s ambassador to Costa Rica, Diana Vanegas, emphasized that events like this help connect domestic producers with potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
“We are supporting the internationalization of our exportable products and producers, whom we are helping to place their goods in other markets and establish contacts with potential customers”, she said.

As part of the agenda, El Salvador also promoted its high-quality coffee through a presentation in the fair’s Demo Zone, where attendees learned about the characteristics of Salvadoran coffee beans, one of the most recognized products on the international market.
Authorities believe that participating in Exphore helps diversify export destinations, strengthen the competitiveness of salvadoran companies, and generate new growth opportunities for key sectors of the economy.
