The opening of Hacienda Real’s new restaurant in San Salvador’s Historic Center will generate between 60 and 70 direct jobs and will rely on an estimated network of 90 to 100 suppliers that will provide raw materials, furniture, equipment, and a wide range of services necessary for the restaurant’s operations.

According to the company, these suppliers will provide ingredients, furniture, equipment, and other essential services required to operate the restaurant. Hacienda Real also emphasized that this supply chain creates additional employment opportunities, as each supplier supports a significant workforce that contributes to the country’s economic activity. The company has not yet disclosed the updated investment amount for the project.

The restaurant was officially inaugurated on Friday, July 31, 2026, with the opening of its newest location in San Salvador’s Historic Center. Through this expansion, Hacienda Real aims to strengthen its presence in El Salvador while enhancing the culinary offerings of one of the city’s most visited areas by both local and international tourists.

Hacienda Real’s history began in 1994 in Guatemala City’s Zone 10. The restaurant chain later expanded with locations in Majadas and Condado Concepción before entering the Salvadoran market in 2006, when it opened its first restaurant at Kilometer 8.5 on the Pan-American Highway. According to the company, the decision to expand into El Salvador was driven by the large number of Salvadorans who regularly visited its restaurants in Guatemala.

For its newest location, Hacienda Real chose a design concept inspired by the traditional haciendas of Antigua Guatemala. The restaurant incorporates materials such as adobe, handcrafted clay pottery, cedar, and oak wood to create an atmosphere that blends historic architecture with the brand’s signature dining experience.

The company said it selected San Salvador’s Historic Center because it considers the area one of the capital’s most iconic and vibrant destinations. It also noted that becoming part of this district offers an opportunity to reach both domestic and international visitors while contributing to the area’s commercial growth.

Hacienda Real stated that its concept goes beyond serving food, aiming instead to provide a complete dining experience through high-quality service, attention to detail, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant maintains its Steak House concept, featuring grilled premium beef cuts, poultry, seafood, beverages, international cocktails, and homemade desserts. Among its signature dishes is the Entraña Real, an imported cut of beef that the company describes as highly marbled, tender, and juicy when prepared over a charcoal grill.

The new restaurant is located at 130 Rubén Darío Street, between Second West Street and Morazán Avenue, next to the National Palace in San Salvador’s Historic Center. Business hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Customers may also contact the restaurant at 2209-7900 for inquiries and additional information.
