The executive director of COAMSS-OPAMSS, Luis Rodríguez, announced the start of construction on Paseo VIVO Apopa, a project representing an investment of approximately US$40 million and being developed in the municipality of Apopa as part of a new urban plan for West San Salvador.
The initiative is funded with Guatemalan capital and involves the participation of the company Blend Capital Distribuidora Salvadoreña. According to Rodríguez, the project is expected to create a total of 1,500 jobs, making the investment a source of economic activity and employment opportunities linked to its development.
Paseo VIVO Apopa proposes a mixed-use concept, that is, a space where different activities can be integrated within a single development. The project will combine retail, services, and residential spaces, both in high-rise buildings and in low-rise developments.

One of the central elements of the proposal will be pedestrian mobility, with spaces designed to facilitate movement within the complex. The approach aims to connect commercial, service, and residential activities, creating an environment where users can access a variety of options in a single location.
From an urban planning perspective, Rodríguez noted that Paseo VIVO Apopa is part of the efforts to redefine the urban vision for West San Salvador. The investment aims to link the development of new projects with the transformation of the area and the creation of economic opportunities.
The project also fits into the context of increased activity in Apopa. According to the executive director of COAMSS-OPAMSS, current security conditions make it possible to promote spaces designed for community interaction and the development of new economic activities in the municipality.

With an estimated investment of US$40 million, Paseo VIVO Apopa also represents the infusion of Guatemalan capital into a project that combines commercial infrastructure, services, and housing. The construction is expected to create jobs throughout its various phases and expand the availability of spaces for economic and residential activities.
Rodríguez emphasized that the initiative aims to connect investment, the local area, and opportunities, guided by a vision of urban growth that integrates economic activity with spaces for the community. The construction of Paseo VIVO Apopa thus joins the ranks of projects seeking to transform the urban dynamics of San Salvador Oeste through new investments and mixed-use developments.
