The Director of the Consejo de Alcaldes y Oficina de Planificación del Área Metropolitana de San Salvador (COAMSS/OPAMSS), Luis Rodríguez, reported on a recent technical visit to the progress of the Garden Towers project, a US$100 million investment by Grupo Roble, which marks a milestone as the first housing development of its kind in the south of San Salvador.

Garden Towers will consist of four towers of 144 apartments each, integrated with a range of complementary services, green spaces, and a design focused on environmental sustainability. In addition, it will have an advanced water management system that will not only benefit residents, but will also contribute to supplying the municipality of San Marcos.

During the visit, it was pointed out that the project responds to the modernization strategy of the private sector promoted by the metropolitan area, incorporating state-of-the-art construction systems and urban solutions that strengthen the orderly planning of the territory.

A significant aspect is the growing participation of women in construction, an indicator of progress towards greater equity in the sector. This project not only redefines the urban landscape in the south of the capital, but also represents a driver of employment and local economic development.
