The Ichanmichen Recreational Park in Zacatecoluca was once again the venue for ExpoMango 2025, an event that brought together thousands of visitors to share the culture, gastronomy, and local production of salvadoran mangoes. This initiative, promoted by the Government of El Salvador, creates opportunities for salvadoran families.

Numerous entrepreneurs from the surrounding areas participated in the event, offering a wide variety of mango products, thus strengthening the local economy. The tenants of the Ichanmichen Recreational Park also participated in the event, presenting various dishes that incorporated mangoes as the main ingredient.
“It’s a great opportunity for everyone, for those who come to sell them (mangoes) and for those who come with their families. It is a good time to share and forget about everyday life”, said Imelda de González, an attendee from San Salvador.

The day was enlivened with live music by vocalist Samuel Rivera, the band Los Corsarios, and the International Orchestra of the Hermanos Flores , who provided a festive and healthy atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
“My mom wanted to come; we brought her so she could enjoy it, and we really liked it. And now that it’s safer, we come more relaxed. Everything is very beautiful”, said Florencia Montes.

As part of the exhibition, local producers offered a wide variety of mango varieties, including Indian mango, panades, sul, tommy, and jade, among others. This event highlights the country’s agricultural wealth and has also become a driving force for agrotourism.

In the culinary area, attendees were able to sample exquisite products such as mango blossoms, shrimp in mango sauce, fresh mango, minutas with mango jelly, mango ceviche, mango charamuscas, tartlets, snacks with mango escabeche, frappés, and mango ice cream.
The government reaffirms its commitment to continue promoting spaces that foster local economic development, art, culture, and healthy recreation for salvadoran families.
