The mayor of San Salvador Centro, Mario Durán, shared,at the SívarLand amusement park, the municipal activities and plans that will take place from august 1 to 6, during the capital’s Fiestas Patron Saint of the capital, in honor of the Divine Savior of the World.
“We are preparing to carry out one more year the best and greatest Fiestas Agostinas. We know that these are not only the festivities of the capital but of all El Salvador. For that reason, every year we put more effort to deliver quality entertainment to all Salvadorans”, said the mayor.
The festivities will begin on thursday, august 1st at 5:00 a.m. with the traditional “alborada” in honor of the patron saint of the capital, in the plaza Salvador del Mundo, where there will be a serenade by mariachis, gunpowder and free atol shuco to all attendees.
At 9:00 a.m. the Parade of the Post Office will take place, with its route from Salvador del Mundo Square to Parque Cuscatlán, where new floats will be presented and many and many surprises for everyone. For the Parade on Saturday, august 3, will feature the participation of more than 30 brands and companies that will join this great celebration.
“Our amusement park SívarLand has a new image with more surprises, more live shows, fireworks and drone shows. Every night we will have the most beloved national artists of the public and we will close every day with high level gunpowder shows”, informed Durán.
The mayor also announced that this year there will be new mechanical games, brought from Europe, for attendees to enjoy the amusement park, installed next to the Estadio Cuscatlán.
In addition, he reported that a modern video surveillance tower of Sívar Seguro will be released and that security will be guaranteed with the presence of more than 500 elements of the Cuerpo de Agentes Metropolitanos (CAM), Policía Nacional Civil (PNC) and Fuerza Armada de El Salvador (FAES).
“In total, there are more than a thousand elements of the Mayor’s Office of San Salvador Centro that will be working for the entire population, including agents of the CAM, Solid Waste, Health Promotion and Municipal Civil Protection”, said the mayor.
Likewise, the Central Municipality will continue working with the Despacho de la Primera Dama and the Ministerio de Salud which, for the second consecutive year, will install a breastfeeding and early childhood care room in the SívarLand amusement park.
