The Asociación Salvadoreña de Industriales (ASI) will hold the ninth edition of the Women’s Leadership Forum, under the slogan “Breaking boundaries, creating the future,” a space that has established itself as a meeting point for women leaders, businesswomen, entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals seeking inspiration, to update their knowledge, and to strengthen their abilities to excel in different fields.

The forum represents a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, acquire new knowledge, and establish strategic connections that promote the personal and professional development of the participants. Through keynote speeches, discussions, and experiential activities, the ASI seeks to inspire, empower, and strengthen female leadership, contributing to the opening of more spaces for the talent and participation of salvadoran women.
“Today, more than ever, women are setting the course for innovation, occupying strategic positions, leading teams, and paving the way for new generations with a sustainable, collaborative, and global vision. Their leadership inspires change and generates opportunities that strengthen the country’s business competitiveness”, emphasized ASI Vice President Carmen Aída de Meardi.
During her speech, the ASI Vice President also highlighted the work of the Ambassador of El Salvador to the United States, Milena Mayorga, who holds a leadership position at the international level and has promoted business opportunities between both countries, thus strengthening commercial ties and the positioning of the salvadoran industrial sector.

The press conference featured a panel of distinguished figures from the business and industrial sectors, led by Jorge Arriaza, president of ASI; Ileana Benítez, director of the ASI Board of Directors and CEO of VERTEX; Carolina Chorro, Marketing and Communications Leader at WTW; and Andrea Loucel, Commercial Manager and Co-founder of Guantap and GuantapStore. Their participation reflects the private sector’s commitment to promoting spaces for dialogue, inclusion, and female leadership.
