The Asociación Salvadoreña de Industriales (ASI) announced the fourth edition of the Congreso Industrial de Alimentos y Bebidas (CIAB), which will be held on may 28 and 29 at the Sheraton Presidente Hotel. This event has established itself as a key platform for strengthening innovation, growth, and competitiveness in an industry that is fundamental to the salvadoran economy.

With a specialized agenda that includes topics such as food safety, digitalization, sustainability, biotechnology, and new consumer trends, the CIAB will bring together national and international entrepreneurs, academics, institutions, and experts. This cross-sector coordination seeks to generate solutions that strengthen the country’s productive environment and promote more sustainable and efficient development.
One of the main attractions of the congress will be the Opportunity Center, a space dedicated to the exhibition of innovative products and solutions from companies in the sector, which will allow for the creation of strategic networks and the opening of new business opportunities. This initiative not only boosts the business economy but also promotes investment and employment within the country.

The congress will also include experiences such as the Coffee Festival, on may 28, with the participation of national brands such as Café Topeca and Quality Grains, and the Gastronomic and Beverage Festival, on may 29, which will showcase the best of local creativity and quality in food and beverages.
With this fourth edition of CIAB, the ASI reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the salvadoran food industry, highlighting its role as an engine of economic development and its ability to adapt to the challenges of the global environment with innovation, sustainability, and a vision for the future.
