El Salvador’s participation in the Seoul Bar & Spirits Show 2025 international fair, recently held in South Korea, represents a key step in boosting salvadoran exports to Asia, especially in the premium spirits sector. With more than 33,000 attendees, this event established itself as a strategic showcase for promoting the talent and innovation of national companies in a demanding and constantly growing market.

The salvadoran brands Cihuatán and Valfer were the stars of the national stand, attracting the attention of South Korean importers, retailers, and consumers interested in products with identity, unique flavor, and artisanal processes. The Cihuatán distillery presented its line of aged rums, ranging from 4 to 16 years, while Valfer surprised with an innovative blend of salvadoran liqueur and coffee, highlighting the richness of local ingredients.
The Embassy of El Salvador in Korea emphasized that these types of events strategically position the country as a competitive supplier of premium products, while strengthening its national image in high-value niches. The fair thus becomes a key platform for diversifying salvadoran exports and boosting the economy through international trade.

The participation was supported by the partner company Legacy Spirits, which specializes in the import of high-end spirits to the South Korean market, which generates favorable prospects for the sustainable insertion of national brands. In addition, it leverages the advantageous conditions of the Free Trade Agreement between El Salvador and South Korea.
With actions like this, the country advances its strategy of internationalizing value-added products, promoting the growth of the salvadoran business sector and generating greater economic opportunities for the beverage industry and the export ecosystem.
