El Salvador’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Adriana Mira, participated in a business forum in Berlin, Germany, where she presented the country’s competitive advantages and investment opportunities to representatives of the german private sector. Grupo Aristos also took part in the event, with the goal of fostering closer ties between business leaders from both nations.
During the meeting, the Salvadoran delegation outlined economic conditions favorable to the influx of foreign capital, including macroeconomic stability, tax incentives, and preferential access to international markets. These factors were highlighted as key elements that could influence the decisions of companies considering establishing or expanding their operations in El Salvador.
As part of the agenda, Mira presented business opportunities in the country to representatives of the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), an organization representing over three million companies in Germany. This engagement provided an opportunity to showcase El Salvador’s economic landscape to a broad network of german businesses.

Connecting with the German private sector aims to generate interest in the salvadoran market and facilitate the identification of potential commercial opportunities. Such forums also foster networking between companies, the exchange of information, and the exploration of joint projects.
Among the advantages highlighted was macroeconomic stability, a critical factor for companies when assessing the risks and conditions for investing in a country. Tax incentives were also emphasized, as they can be particularly attractive for certain types of projects, depending on the specific requirements and applicable legal provisions.
The delegation further underscored El Salvador’s preferential access to international markets and its strategic geographic location. These factors are highly relevant for companies looking to expand their commercial operations and utilize the country as a gateway to other markets, depending on the nature of their economic activity.

Attracting foreign investment can help create jobs, expand productive capacity, and open new opportunities for local suppliers. Furthermore, successful projects can facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology, while strengthening commercial ties between El Salvador and Germany.
Through its participation in the Berlin business forum, the salvadoran delegation seeks to position the country as an option for German investors and to foster new business relationships. The realization of investments will depend on the interest shown by companies and the agreements that may be reached because of these engagements.
