The Corte de Cuentas de la República (CCR) has concluded the third edition of its Anti-Corruption Specialization Program, an initiative focused on training institutional staff in corruption prevention and strengthening practices that foster ethical, transparent, and accountable public management.
The closing ceremony was led by the President of the CCR, Walter Salvador Sosa, along with the first magistrate, Julio Guillermo Bendek Panameño, and the second magistrate, José Rodrigo Flores Ramos.
A total of 58 professionals from the central office and the regional offices in San Miguel, Santa Ana, and San Vicente completed the program. As part of this effort, the participants have committed to applying the knowledge they gained to their daily work and sharing it with their colleagues, thereby helping to build an institutional culture rooted in integrity and the prevention of corruption.

In his remarks, President Walter Sosa emphasized that preventing this scourge extends beyond the institutional sphere; it is also an action taken for the benefit of the public and ensures the proper management of public funds.
“Preventing corruption also means protecting the well-being of salvadoran families, strengthening trust in our institutions, and ensuring that state resources are translated into services, infrastructure, and opportunities for those who need them most”, he said.

Through this training initiative, the CCR continues to foster the professional development of its staff and consolidate the principles of ethics, transparency, and integrity, which are essential for strengthening oversight functions and ensuring the efficient and responsible administration of public resources.
The event took place at the Biblioteca Nacional de El Salvador, where the completion of this specialized training program was formally recognized.
