The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), seeks to promote the strengthening of the governance system and the management of public policy for early childhood, childhood and adolescence in El Salvador, for which it is financing $125,000, which will be used for the development of governance models.
This initiative includes the strengthening of its organizational and functional structure, and the respective macro processes, as well as the creation of management capacities to ensure its coherent, articulated and supervised implementation, to improve the effectiveness, transparency and sustainability of the policy’s implementation.
This new implementation will be financed by the Strategic Program for Development Financed with Ordinary Capital, which will allow a functional review of the programs to identify the gaps between their available resources and those needed to develop interventions with the expected coverage, scope and quality.
This functional review will be an important input to know the resource gaps of the programs and their interventions and thus adjust the objectives, goals and indicators.
The IDB expects to have a set of diagnoses and proposals that will contribute to strengthening the governance and management models of the Consejo Nacional de la Primera Infancia, Niñez y Adolescencia (CONAPINA).
