This international competition aims to identify, support and project entrepreneurs with high growth potential, offering them access to specialized mentoring, technical resources, and non-refundable financing. The call will be open until June 30, and is aimed at start-ups in the idea, early or growth stage.
The Minister of Economy, María Luisa Hayem, highlighted that the EWC represents a key opportunity to connect salvadoran entrepreneurs with global networks, funding sources, and unique training experiences. She also emphasized that the government will continue to support these efforts from the public sector with policies that strengthen emerging businesses.

The initiative is carried out in partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) and has the support of the European Union, which in this edition will award a special prize for entrepreneurs in the cultural and creative industries. The national phase will offer prizes and benefits more than US$300,000, in addition to non-refundable financing ranging from US$15,000 to US$100,000, depending on the category.
Since its implementation in 2020, the Entrepreneurship World Cup has identified more than 3,000 entrepreneurs in El Salvador and has awarded prizes worth more than US$560,000. With this new edition, the government reaffirms its commitment to the entrepreneurial sector, promoting the economic transformation of the country through innovation and local talent.
