SISTEMA FEDECRÉDITO for the fifth consecutive year held the long awaited EMPRENDE SALVADOREÑA 2025 Congress, reaffirming its commitment to the empowerment of salvadoran women and their key role in the economic development of the country. This event brought together more than a thousand women entrepreneurs, businesswomen, clients, students and special guests from various sectors and regions of the country.

EMPRENDE SALVADOREÑA 2025 has established itself as a meeting, training, and empowerment space for women leaders, where they could access real experiences, practical tools and establish contacts with each other, thus promoting their professional and personal growth, accessing new opportunities, and advancing in their careers with greater preparation and confidence. Each year, this congress is a platform that gives voice to women who inspire and pave the way for new generations of salvadoran entrepreneurs.

This time the congress counted with the participation of outstanding national and international speakers who shared tools and experiences to strengthen leadership, business development, emotional and financial well-being of the participants. Among them were: Inés Ramírez, with the success story “Entrepreneurship with purpose: lessons from my journey with Elizza Store”; Nadia Vado, speaker, and mentor, with “Success with balance: the formula for success”; Elaine Miranda, personal finance specialist, with “Women and money: how to achieve your financial goals” and Paola Aldaz, innovation expert, with the theme “Experiences: the key to differentiate yourself”.
Every year, the CONGRESO EMPRENDE SALVADOREÑA represents a unique opportunity for collective growth, where a community of women is created to accompany, inspire and encourage each other. In this sense, the SISTEMA FEDECRÉDITO reaffirms its commitment to the integral development of salvadoran women, not only through events like this one, but also by offering financial solutions that allow them to undertake, innovate, and transform their ideas into sustainable realities.

In El Salvador, according to the National Population and Housing Census of 2024, 52.8% of the population of our country are women. Between january and october of that year, more than 2,000 MYPES were created in El Salvador, 34.5% of which were led by women. These figures reaffirm that women have a fundamental role in the economic and social development of the country, which is why in 2024 the SISTEMA FEDECRÉDITO made available a financing of up to $80 million whose purpose is to expand access to credit for MSMEs led mainly by women, in addition to housing and home improvement loans for low-income households headed by women.
