The Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG) has made significant progress in simplifying procedures, with 45 certificates registered in the Registro Nacional de Trámites (RNT). This government initiative seeks to optimize processes to offer a more efficient service to citizens and the productive sector. This measure is essential to boost the national economy.

Mariana Gómez, executive director of the Organismo de Mejora Regulatoria(OMR), said that this action allows the MAG to provide more agile processes. The elimination of unnecessary requirements and the speed of responses are crucial for farmers and entrepreneurs. The procedures have been purged of steps that generated unjustified delays, boosting productivity.
On average, response times have been reduced by 64%, which represents a significant saving of time and resources for users. Gómez emphasized that simplification and RNT registration are priorities. The goal is to offer optimal services and quick responses, directly benefiting the agricultural sector and the economy.

This effort is part of a national strategy to modernize public administration that involves various institutions. So far, 27 entities have simplified and registered 1,346 procedures in the RNT. This includes key ministries such as Health, Economy, and Public Works, demonstrating a comprehensive commitment to efficiency.

The SIMEJORA digital platform allows consultation of registered procedures, guaranteeing their legality and the elimination of administrative burdens. The optimization includes 14 steps that ensure adequate diagnostics and process reengineering. This seeks to transform public administration, promoting investment and competitiveness in El Salvador.
