Approximately 160,000 passengers are projected at the Aeropuerto Internacional Monseñor Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez between july 29 and august 7, as announced by the president of the Comisión Ejecutiva Portuaria Autónoma (CEPA), Federico Anliker. In addition, this movement includes incoming, outgoing and connecting passengers, with a daily average of 15,000 people.
In this regard, Anliker emphasized that efforts will be redoubled to serve domestic and foreign tourists through various actions both inside and outside the airport facilities. These measures include the installation of more X-ray equipment at inspection points to speed up security processes.

In addition, students from the Academia Nacional de Seguridad Pública (ANSP) and elements of the Viceministerio de Transporte (VMT) will join to ensure security and fluidity at the airport. They will provide support in various public areas to improve pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
During the holiday period, CEPA will increase daily inspections to ensure the proper functioning of all airport facilities. This includes the operation of the passenger terminal, the aeronautical area and the ground area. With these measures, CEPA seeks to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all travelers during this busy period.
It should be noted that through the different borders of the country, an approximate flow of more than 345,000 entries and exits of nationals and foreigners is expected during the august vacations, from august 1 to 6.
