McDonald’s El Salvador celebrated McDíaFeliz, 2025 with great enthusiasm, a day that, once again, reaffirmed the solidarity of salvadorans. On october 8, thousands of people came together to turn the taste of a Big Mac into hope and life for children with heart conditions.
Thanks to the support of families, partner companies, media outlets, artists, content creators, and special guests, an extraordinary goal was reached: 45,409 Big Macs sold, representing US$208,881.40, donated entirely to the Fundación Sana Mi Corazón. This contribution will allow children with heart problems and in economically vulnerable situations to access vital, life-saving catheterization procedures.
“At McDonald’s, we are extremely grateful for the solidarity of salvadorans. Every Big Mac sold represents much more than a meal: it is a new heartbeat, a smile, and hope for children and their families. This success inspires us to continue working together for causes that transform lives”, said Christian Umaña, Country manager for McDonald’s El Salvador.
McDíaFeliz, 2025 once again demonstrated that when a country unites, solidarity multiplies and becomes a future for those most in need.
McDonald’s thanks every salvadoran who made this result possible and its strategic partners, including Pedidos Ya, Teleperformance, Uber, Banco Davivienda, El Dragón Luces Chinas, and Banco Promerica. It also thanks the media, influencers, content creators, personalities, and companies who, with their time and resources, contributed to making this solidarity celebration leave a positive impact on thousands of families.
