
The Government of El Salvador, through the Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG) and Centro Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria y Forestal (CENTA), continues to protect the economy and boost food production. Therefore, starting march 27, it is making low-cost agricultural inputs available to producers at the four AGROCENTA branches nationwide and will open additional sales points.
The AGROCENTA branches are:
• San Andrés, La Libertad: San Andrés 1 Experimental Station of the CENTA National Center, Km 33, Santa Ana Highway.
• Usulután: CENTA Usulután Extension Agency, El Trillo Canton, Los Pinos turnoff, 2 km south, San Dionisio Road, next to the ITU.
• San Vicente: CENTA San Vicente Extension Agency, José María Cornejo Avenue and 5th West Street, No. 2.
• San Vicente: CENTA San Vicente Extension Agency, José María Cornejo Avenue and 5th West Street, No. 2. • Ahuachapán: CENTA Extension Agency, Km 111 1/2, Llano de la Laguna canton, Las Chinamas road, Ahuachapán


• Low-cost agricultural inputs can also be purchased at CENTA extension agencies in: Chalchuapa, Sonsonate, Quezaltepeque, Chalatenango, San Martín, Cojutepeque, Santa Cruz Porrillo, Guacotecti, La Cañada, San Miguel, and Osicala. Home delivery will also be offered for wholesale purchases, so associations, cooperatives, or independent producers can organize themselves to buy and take advantage of this benefit.
•Formula 15-15-15, ammonium sulfate, formula 16-20-0, and the 40%N + 6%S physical blend are among the products that will be made available, and plans are underway to expand the product offerings to ensure that producers have the necessary inputs to begin the 2026/2027 agricultural cycle.

This initiative will run for one month, benefiting thousands of producers nationwide, and is part of a strategic action to strengthen agricultural production and guarantee food security for salvadoran families.
