The Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG) announced the implementation of a system for coordinating and delivering agricultural inputs to homes. This measure aims to facilitate access for producers and cooperatives to the materials necessary for their production activities.
With this system, farmers can manage their orders in an organized manner through their cooperatives or producer groups, reducing travel and streamlining the input acquisition process.
MAG explained that the procedure begins with direct coordination between producers and their cooperatives, who consolidate the request for agricultural inputs according to the group’s needs.
Subsequently, those interested should contact the channels provided by the institution: telephone number 2355-3015 or via WhatsApp at 6968-2973, where guidance is provided on the request and delivery process.
As part of the process, the quantity of supplies required, the name of the person to whom the quote should be issued, and the delivery location must be provided to ensure orderly and efficient distribution.
Once the request is finalized, producers must make the corresponding payment and send the receipt to the designated accounts at Banco Agrícola or Banco de Fomento Agropecuario, thus formalizing the order.
The Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería (MAG)) explained that, after completing the process, the supplies will be delivered within an estimated 3 to 5 days, directly to the location indicated by the applicants.
With this initiative, the institution seeks to improve distribution logistics, reduce waiting times, and bring agricultural supplies closer to producers, thereby strengthening agricultural activity in the country and supporting the sector’s productivity.
