A delegation of salvadoran companies participated in F İstanbul 2026, one of Turkey’s leading trade fairs specializing in food, beverages, and production technologies, with the goal of promoting national exports and generating new business opportunities in international markets.
The participation was coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Salvadoran Embassy in Turkey. The strategy aims to facilitate the internationalization of Salvadoran companies and strengthen trade ties with buyers and partners in Turkey and other markets in the Eurasian region.
During the event, the salvadoran companies presented products such as specialty coffee, honey and honey products, cookies, cocoa, chocolate, and liqueurs. The diverse offerings showcased the potential of sectors seeking to expand their presence beyond the salvadoran market and find new destinations for their products.

The four-day trade fair provided an opportunity to connect with distributors, supermarket chains, importers, and representatives from hotels, restaurants, and cafes. These contacts can lead to opportunities for new trade agreements, distribution channels, and international sales.
The salvadoran ambassador to Turkey, Héctor Jaime, emphasized that participation positioned El Salvador as a trading partner with a competitive offering and the capacity to meet the needs of international buyers.
As part of the business agenda, meetings were also held with the organizations MÜSIAD and DEIK, where business opportunities and mechanisms to strengthen ties between the business communities of El Salvador and Turkey were discussed.

According to the diplomatic representative, the fair also brought salvadoran products closer to Turkish consumers and buyers, in addition to fostering relationships that could contribute to boosting trade between the two countries.
F İstanbul brings together hundreds of exhibitors and more than 15,000 professional visitors from nearly 100 countries, making it a strategic platform for Salvadoran companies to diversify markets, expand their export opportunities, and strengthen their presence in international trade.
