The Superintendencia del Sistema Financiero (SSF) announced that, starting september 10, 2026, a new phase of fund repayments will open for depositors of Cooperativa Santa Victoria (COSAVI). During this phase, repayments of up to US$150,000 in total deposits per person may be processed, according to information released by the institution.
The SSF explained that the funds used to continue these repayments come from payments COSAVI receives on previously issued loans. In other words, resources recovered through loan repayments generate the funds needed to advance the depositor reimbursement process.

Service for this new phase will be provided at the Central Branch, located on Gabriela mistral street. Depositors may visit monday through friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
With this new repayment phase, the SSF continues to increase the deposit amount eligible for processing under the COSAVI fund restitution program. The announced limit for this stage is up to US$150,000 in total deposits, representing progress for savers falling within this established range.

The information also highlights that the process depends on resources continuously generated through the recovery of loans issued by the cooperative. Consequently, the SSF continues to monitor available resources to keep serving depositors.
The Superintendency advised affected individuals to stay tuned to its official information channels, where details regarding the process will be announced. Through this new phase, the financial authority aims to continue making progress in returning deposits to COSAVI users.
