The 14th edition of the Ranking of Industrial Exporters 2024, an event organized by the Asociación Salvadoreña de Industriales (ASI El Salvador), was held. Aduana El Salvador participated through the Director of Customs, Benjamín Mayo. This event aims to reward the best exporting companies in the industrial sector, recognizing their valuable contribution to the economic development of the country.
The event also highlighted the excellence of leading companies in various sectors. Among the award winners were:
1. Textile and apparel sector: HanesBrands.
2. Food sector: Productos Alimenticios Diana
3. Beverage sector: Livsmart Americas
4.Plastics sector: Ternova
5.Paper Sector: Kimberly Clark de Centroamérica
A special category was awarded to Corporación Multi Inversiones (CMI) and the bank that most supports the industry was Banco Agrícola. Other companies recognized included Laboratorios Vijosa in the pharmaceutical sector, GALVANISSA in the metal-mechanics sector, Empresas ADOC in the footwear sector, Kyocera AVX in the electronics sector and Enerwire in the electrical manufacturing sector.
Benjamín Mayo stressed the importance of the work and performance of these companies, affirming that they are fundamental to energize the national economy. “We are providing all the necessary tools for Trade Facilitation”, said Mayo, highlighting the government’s commitment to the export sector.
The Ranking of Industrial Exporters 2024 not only celebrates the achievements of the most outstanding companies, but also reaffirms the collaboration between the private and public sector to boost El Salvador’s economic growth and competitiveness in the international market.
