
The Agencia Nacional de Inteligencia Artificial (ANIA) announced the addition of Ginger Luckey Gaetz as a strategic advisor, with the goal of strengthening El Salvador’s international standing in applied artificial intelligence and technological innovation.
According to ANIA, Luckey Gaetz will focus on providing strategic leadership within the institution’s portfolio, particularly in expanding international connections, forging alliances with U.S. technology ecosystems, global companies, and top-tier university programs.
The agency explained that her work will be geared toward fostering the development of specialized talent and promoting the creation of startups, as part of the strategy to position El Salvador as a regional leader in the practical application of artificial intelligence.

ANIA emphasized that the addition of Ginger Luckey Gaetz aligns with its vision of accelerating the country’s growth in this industry, aiming to ensure that the adoption of AI-based technologies generates concrete results across various sectors.
President Nayib Bukele reacted to the announcement with a welcome message to the newest member of the team: “Welcome, Ginger.”
Ginger Luckey Gaetz noted that El Salvador’s vision for applied artificial intelligence and technological innovation is “remarkable” and expressed her willingness to work alongside ANIA to strengthen this process.

“Under President Nayib Bukele’s leadership, El Salvador’s vision for applied AI and technological innovation is remarkable. I am deeply honored to partner with ANIA to help accelerate this momentum”, she said.
With this addition, ANIA seeks to expand its international connections and consolidate alliances that will strengthen the salvadoran technology ecosystem, with the goal of positioning the country on the global agenda for innovation and development based on artificial intelligence.
