El Salvador presented its renewed investment and tourism offer at the China International Supply Chain Expo 2025 (CISCE), held in Beijing, as part of its economic diplomacy strategy promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the event, the country highlighted its strengths as an attractive destination for foreign capital, especially from the chinese business sector.

The salvadoran ambassador to China, Luis López, highlighted the transformations the nation has undergone, particularly in security, economic stability, and productive modernization. “El Salvador today is a safe, competitive country open to the world. We have consolidated the necessary foundations to facilitate foreign direct investment”, said the diplomat.
Among the strategic sectors promoted at the fair were specialized manufacturing, logistics, technology, tourism, and value-added agro-industry. The “Surf City” program was also highlighted as an integral model of coastal development that combines modern infrastructure, environmental conservation, and high-level tourism investment opportunities.

El Salvador was presented as a strategic hub with preferential access to 41 markets thanks to its network of free trade agreements. In addition, the work of the Invest in El Salvador agency was highlighted, which provides personalized services to investors, from legal advice to institutional coordination.
Finally, Ambassador López invited chinese businessmen to visit the country and explore its potential. “El Salvador is ready. We offer legal security, tax incentives, a strategic location and political will. This is the time to establish solid partnerships with our nation”, he concluded.
