
A delegation of German business leaders visited El Salvador to learn firsthand about the investment opportunities the country offers in strategic sectors, as part of an initiative to strengthen trade relations and promote new economic development projects.
The visit was hosted by the Corporación de Exportadores de El Salvador (COEXPORT), which reported that the business leaders expressed interest in areas with growth potential, including tourism, high value-added textiles, technological development, and the energy sector.
According to COEXPORT, the meeting provided an opportunity to showcase El Salvador’s competitive advantages for foreign investment, as well as opportunities to establish business partnerships and develop projects that will boost economic activity and job creation.
The business mission was promoted by the Embassy of El Salvador in Germany and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as part of efforts to strengthen economic ties between the two countries and attract investment to priority sectors. With these types of visits, El Salvador seeks to solidify its position as an attractive destination for international investors, highlighting its strategic location, the growth of specialized sectors, and the opportunities to develop value-added businesses.
COEXPORT noted that engaging with foreign businesspeople helps expand opportunities for trade, investment, and knowledge exchange, strengthening the country’s image as a reliable partner for developing new business projects.
