El Salvador will host the inaugural Fine Dining Week, a series of unique and exclusive dinners taking place from october 12 to 16, bringing together over 100 national and international chefs. The event will conclude with a special finale on saturday, october 17: the first Gala Internacional Fine Dining Table to be held at the Palacio Nacional in Centro Histórico de San Salvador. This activity will focus the Latin American culinary industry’s attention on the country and facilitate connections between local professionals and renowned international figures.
From an economic perspective, the initiative aims to leverage gastronomy as a driver of new opportunities for business owners and entrepreneurs. Adriana Larín, Director of the Autoridad del Centro Histórico, emphasized the importance of integrating gastronomy into the country’s tourism strategy. Larín noted that the country is strengthening its tourism appeal not only through sports and cultural activities but also through gastronomy.
