The Government of El Salvador continues to strengthen its strategy to attract european investment to the country through the growth and professionalization of the aeronautical sector. The Minister of the Ministry of Economy of El Salvador, María Luisa Hayem, informed about a new alliance between the Aerocluster of El Salvador and Expertise France, aimed at strengthening specialized technical training and responding to the labor demand of this industry.
According to the official explanation, this cooperation will allow connecting young Salvadorans with training programs aligned to the real needs of aeronautical companies, generating more attractive conditions for European companies to consider investing in El Salvador.
The minister highlighted that one of the main objectives of this initiative is to consolidate the country as a competitive destination for international projects related to aviation, aeronautical maintenance, air logistics and specialized services.
“Continue the good news for the growth of the aeronautical sector of El Salvador and our population”, expressed Hayem when announcing the alliance, highlighting that the availability of qualified human talent is one of the most important factors in attracting new foreign investments.
The strategy includes developing technical training that facilitates the incorporation of young people into the labor market with specialized profiles, which will also contribute to generating more competitive salaries within the aeronautical industry.
The authorities consider that strengthening human capital will increase the country’s operational capacity and expand expansion opportunities for international companies interested in setting up operations in salvadoran territory.
El Salvador’s Aerocluster forms part of government efforts to position the country as a regional center for aeronautical and logistical services. In recent years, the sector has shown sustained growth driven by improvements in connectivity, infrastructure and the development of specialized talent.
Participation in Expertise France also represents an opportunity to incorporate European experiences and models of technical training, strengthening training standards in areas related to aviation and aeronautical technology.
The Government ensures that the strengthening of the aviation sector can become an important engine for the generation of employment, transfer of knowledge and capture of foreign investment, especially from Europe.
