The U.S. Embassy in El Salvador announced that registration is now open for salvadoran business owners and professionals in the food industry to participate in the 2026 National Restaurant Association Show, which will take place may 16–19, 2026, at McCormick Place.
This event is considered one of the most important in the world for the restaurant, food, and service industries, bringing together thousands of exhibitors, suppliers, and international buyers. The initiative aims to facilitate connections between Salvadoran entrepreneurs and U.S. companies, promoting business opportunities, innovation, and growth in the sector.
According to the embassy, the program is carried out in coordination with the U.S. Commercial Service, which encourages the participation of international delegations to strengthen trade relations and maximize the return on investment for attendees.
Those who join the official delegation will have access to a range of benefits, including free admission to the event, assistance with the registration process, and exclusive networking opportunities with industry leaders. These benefits are designed to facilitate the participation of salvadoran business owners and entrepreneurs interested in expanding their professional networks and learning about new trends in the food industry.
In addition, the event will allow attendees to explore innovations in food, technology applied to restaurants, specialized equipment, and business strategies, in an environment that brings together key global players in the sector.

The embassy emphasized that this is a strategic opportunity for representatives of El Salvador’s gastronomy sector to strengthen their capabilities, establish commercial partnerships, and access new opportunities in international markets.
Those interested can request more information and arrange their participation by emailing office.sansalvador@trade.gov where they will receive guidance on the registration process.
