Tourism in Honduras continues to consolidate as a unique experience for visitors, and the Media Luna hotel is living proof of this boom. Located in a privileged area between forest and beach, this lodging has captured the attention of travelers seeking a connection with nature without sacrificing comfort. The proposal has become a trend among Central American tourists who value the privacy, the intimate atmosphere, and the fresh air that this place offers.

Marianela Hernández, assistant president of the H&M Resort chain, opens the doors of Hotel Media Luna, describing it as the “jewel” of the chain. This resort, located on the paradisiacal island of Roatán, seeks to captivate the world with its first-class services, the exuberant nature that surrounds it and a special attention designed for each guest. The reopening of Media Luna has a clear purpose and that is to offer an experience of tranquility and natural beauty.

According to Marianela, the room rates are “super comfortable”, plus special packages are offered from El Salvador that include flights with frequencies from Sunday to Thursday and Thursday to Sunday, even giving away a night in the package. This all-inclusive system guarantees that visitors will not have additional costs once they purchase their package, providing total peace of mind.

The Media Luna stands out for its cabin-like rooms, surrounded by green areas and forest, with private terraces that allow you to enjoy the scenery and relax. Each room is air-conditioned and has handcrafted bathrooms that give the sensation of being in direct contact with the natural environment.

The hotel has two swimming pools (one for adults and one for children), as well as two accesses to the beach: a traditional one on the sand and another from a pier, perfect for watching the sunset. This beach area is for the exclusive use of guests, ensuring a quiet and uncrowded experience. The setting also includes hammocks on the shore and playgrounds among gardens, making it an ideal place for couples and groups of friends alike.

One of the hotel’s main attractions is its cultural and festive atmosphere. Every night there are shows, including the famous Garifuna dance, performed by talented coastal dancers who fill the stage with rhythm and tradition. The gastronomic offer adds to the experience, with a varied buffet that perfectly complements the day’s activities.

The kindness of the staff and the constant entertainment reinforce the idea of a complete tourist destination, where the visitor feels welcome from the first moment. The Media Luna Hotel is, without a doubt, a key point in the tourist offer of Honduras, which bets on natural and cultural experiences with a personalized service.

The expected impact of this reopening is considerable, both on local and international tourism. With an already strong influx of salvadorans, Media Luna seeks to consolidate itself as the preferred destination for those seeking to enjoy the beauty of Roatan. Marianela extends an invitation to all tourists, noting that, “Media Luna is a place to do different activities every day and enjoy”.
