
Parque Nacional El Boquerón has reopened to the public after the completion of renovations, offering visitors updated spaces to enjoy one of El Salvador’s most iconic natural destinations.
With the reopening, national and international tourists can once again explore this site located on the San Salvador volcano, renowned for its cool climate, trails, and panoramic views of the crater, as well as its glass viewpoint, one of the park’s main attractions.

The improvements aim to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors, making it an ideal option for outdoor activities and family time in a natural setting.
Parque Nacional El Boquerón will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy its landscapes, rest areas, and recreational spaces.

With the reopening of this destination, the country’s nature tourism offerings are expanding once again, and domestic tourism is being promoted through spaces that combine recreation, contact with the environment, and privileged views of one of El Salvador’s main volcanoes.
