The Ministry of Housing has deeded a total of 40,789 loans, which represents an accumulated investment of US$895.12 million and has benefited 171,314 salvadorans, informed the head of the institution, Michelle Sol. This figure reflects the impact of the housing finance programs that have facilitated access to home ownership.

The credits have been distributed in different lines of financing. For new housing, 10,114 loans have been granted, for an amount of US$362.56 million. In the case of used housing and other lines, 21,664 loans have been granted, totaling US$413.78 million. In addition, through the placement of extraordinary assets, 9,011 homes have been financed, with an investment of US$118.78 million.

So far in 2025, 980 homes have been deeded, with an investment of US$27.86 million. In february alone, the figure reached 471 houses, with an injection of US$13.45 million. The minister emphasized that these results reflect the stability and confidence in the housing sector, driven in part by the Territorial Control Plan and the exception regime.

Another positive indicator is the low delinquency rate, which closed at 1.02%, which, according to Sol, demonstrates the responsibility of salvadorans with their payments. To improve attention to citizens, the Ministry has enabled the Call Center 190 and various online services to streamline procedures.

Access to housing continues to grow, with historic financing that facilitates the acquisition of both new and used homes, benefiting thousands of families in the country.
