The Ministry of Labor of El Salvador continues to implement the Plan Nacional de Inspección, a strategy that seeks to guarantee compliance with labor regulations in the country’s various productive sectors.
According to the head of the institution, Rolando Castro, inspection teams maintain a presence in all 14 departments of the national territory, with the objective of verifying working conditions and promoting respect for workers’ rights.
“We are continuing with the Plan Nacional de Inspección. We are in all 14 departments of the national territory”, said the official, who emphasized that labor justice must be “forceful, fair, and sustained” to become part of the country’s culture.
The minister noted that the Ministry of Labor teams continue their work even during holiday periods, with the purpose of maintaining constant oversight of compliance with labor obligations.
According to Castro, these actions are part of a transformation process in El Salvador’s labor culture, aimed at strengthening worker protections and fostering labor relations based on compliance with the law.
The Plan Nacional de Inspección includes workplace inspections to identify potential violations related to labor rights, employment conditions, and obligations established by current legislation.
The Ministry of Labor has reiterated that it will maintain these actions continuously throughout the country, with the goal of consolidating a permanent labor inspection policy that is closely aligned with workers’ needs.
